MAPLE
One of the most common and widely used North American woods, the Hard Maple tree is found in eastern North America.
Maple hardwood flooring has a distinctive look because its colour tends to be creamy white, though sometimes it can darken to a light brown. Maple's clear grain is very subtle, almost unnoticeable, without the sharp contrasts found in other woods, such as oak.
Maple has a Janka hardness rating of 1450, making it one of the more durable and dense hardwood floors. Our engineered wood is very stable and will not expand, contract, or cause any gapping. Maple is best for condominiums or basements because it is mounted on plywood and is ideal for installing directly on concrete.
